CHILLED FREIGHT AND DELIVERY

Nationwide chilled delivery is a skill that has been honed by our various national chilled distribution companies. All freight and delivery will be charged by weight up to a maximum of 20kg. Depending on where you live, freight costs range from as little as $8 up to $25. All orders over 20kg will incur a preferred negotiated freight rate which will be communicated and agreed before products are dispatched. All products are dispatched un-glazed so you can add your favourite flavours on the day.

Deliveries during the Christmas and New Year period

The last delivery date before Christmas and New Year in 2017 is the 21st of December for the Auckland region and the 15th of December for the rest of the North Island and the whole South Island. Orders placed after these dates are binding and will be processed and delivered after the 3rd of January 2018.

Where does Christmas Hams deliver to?

Christmas Hams offers overnight commercial address delivery across main city areas across the North Island. This unfortunately does not include rural areas or PO Boxes.

When will my order to arrive?

Christmas Hams is committed to your satisfaction, we work very hard to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible, and on the date requested.

If the order is placed before 11:00am, we will deliver your order on your requested delivery date provided the delivery date is at least two business days from order date on the North Island, and four business day from order date on the South Island. We do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. We will send out orders only when the payment is received.

Delivery times are highly dependent on your location and local transport services in your local area. We aim to deliver to all metro areas before 2:30pm each day and as late as 4:30pm for all outer areas, but these times are a guide only.

Delivery instructions

Please take every effort to include the correct delivery address details for a commercial or office address at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense. We may cancel any order should the delivery address not be a commercial or office address covered by our chosen freight distributors.

If you are not going to be at the delivery address for your Christmas Hams delivery, it is extremely important that you include detailed instructions at the time of ordering about where to leave your goods – remembering that these are chilled meat products requiring immediate refrigeration. In cases where there is no one to receive the parcel(s), our courier is instructed to leave your delivery in a safe place. If unable to do so, the parcel will be returned to Christmas Hams, however, we are not obliged to re-send the order at our expense. Christmas Hams will not be liable for product spoilage as a result of leaving goods where directed by you.

How will my order be packed?

All our orders are delivered in outer carton boxes in a chilled transport vehicle. You can confidently order Christmas Hams products to be delivered to either your commercial or work address safely chilled. If you are not cooking the products right away, please make sure to refrigerate them immediately on receiving your order.

Sometimes things don’t go to plan

Occasionally, circumstances occur which could add another day or two to these times. If this occurs we will endeavour to communicate any delay to you as soon as possible. Once goods are dispatched we rely on our independent courier transportation network to deliver.

What shipping charge will apply to my order?

Your shipping charge will be calculated per item once your shipping address is entered. These rates may change from time to time. On occasion, we may also have promotions where we offer additional discounts on shipping.
